1. Service

RatioNest provides expense-splitting tools for couples, including ratio computation, retroactive recalculation, OCR receipt extraction, and notification features. By using RatioNest you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email and keep your password confidential. A couple is two accounts that have accepted each other’s invite. Both partners can view shared expense data within the couple, while personal expenses remain visible only to their owner.

3. Free beta and future access

The mobile beta has open signup and is free for at least three months. Both partners temporarily receive full access to core features without a purchase. We intend to keep basic expense tracking and suggested splits free after beta; optional paid plans for expanded features are planned. Exact features, limits, prices, and the change date are undecided. We will give advance notice of any access change and a way to review your data. Ending beta access will not delete your data or unexpectedly remove both partners' access to their records.

4. Your data

You own the data you enter. We process it solely to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service, attempt to access other couples’ data, or use RatioNest to facilitate illegal activity.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Covered data is removed from active RatioNest systems as described in the Privacy Policy. Service providers may retain limited legal, transaction, fraud-prevention, or protected backup records under their documented schedules.

7. Liability

RatioNest is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them. Material changes are notified via email.
